BRIEF HISTORY OF HECOHAS
HEKIMA College of Health and Allied Sciences (HECOHAS) is a private college that was established in 2021. It acquired its registration with the number REG NO: VET/PWN/PR/2021/C/059
Located in KIBAHA District near Morogoro Road in the Pwani region of Tanzania, our college has been serving as a beacon of education and training in the healthcare field.
HECOHAS is registered with BRELA (Business Registration and Licensing Agency) and the Vocational Education Training Authority (VETA) Pwani, allowing us to offer vocational education and training programs. We are proud to be accredited by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and work closely with the Department of Human Resource Development of the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children to ensure the highest quality standards and academic integrity.
The mandate of HEKIMA College of Health and Allied Sciences is as:
- The provision of Tertiary education, promotion of research and advancement of learning.
- The provision of accessible physical facilities to the users of the Public College.
- Dissemination of knowledge and giving opportunity of acquiring higher education to all persons including persons with disabilities wishing to do so regardless of race, political opinion, color, or sex.
